This is one of two cottages nestling on the hillside at the gateway to the White Peak in the southern part of the National Park with its undulating valleys and dales.
Enjoy some excellent walking in nearby and renowned Dovedale with its stepping stones cycle the Tissington and Manifold Trails or walk the cobbles in the pretty historic market town of Ashbourne. The pretty village of Tissington is nearby and is certainly worth a visit.
You enter the cottage which has feature beams throughout the ground floor into the main entrance hall where there is good storage for coats and boots after a long country walk. Off the hall is the second bathroom with shower cubicle and electric power shower with separate toilet and hand basin. The hall leads through to the kitchen/dining area which takes in garden views to the front and beyond. The kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials you will require for your stay it leads through to the lounge with its welcoming flame effect stove. There is also a rear door to a second patio sitting out area. The stairs leads to the two bedrooms both with sloping ceilings and beams giving each room character one with a double bed the second with two single beds. The main bathroom on this floor has a bath hand basin and toilet. There is a sitting out area to the front of the cottage it has an open lawned garden which takes in the views and sun for the majority of the day. This cottage is one of two cottages at the same location which can be booked together to sleep 8 people the other is: PK586 Dovedale Barn (Sleeps 4). Pets welcome. Internet available.
