Absolutely fantastic holiday. The Hayloft was very clean and well laid out. There is plenty of room in the lounge/bedroom and I couldnt fault the Hayloft. The location is amazing with very little traffic. There are plenty of walks around Birchover so no real need to get in your car. Both the pubs in the village serve good food but the Hayloft has aRead more excellent kitchen if you do want to cook. One thing to remember is there is no shop in Birchover so bring what you need (milk, bread etc) Hide

A really cosy hideaway in very rural Derbyshire. Exactly the sort of place I was hoping for. Everything one might need yet a real away from it all break. The property was in excellent condition, very well equipped and the bed very comfortable. I would stay again and very much look forward to it.

Currently due to COVID the cottage is asking the guests to clean and disinfect the property. However the checkout time remains at 10am which means an early start. Had I known this prior to booking the property, I would have requested a later check-out time.

Lovely setting in the Derbyshire Dales, quiet village (no stores to buy the basics). Property is a good size for 2 Adults & 2 Dogs but there are steps up to the entrance so not ideal for older pets. Plenty of short walks on the doorstep.
