Designed to the highest of standards, this spectacular property offers a wealth of features including a stunning conservatory to relax and enjoy the views or take a dip in the hot tub outside.

If you are after a romantic and luxurious setting, then this unique property is perfect for your countryside escape. Set next to the owner’s home yet guaranteed privacy on the outskirts of the Peak District National Park, you are close to the Dovedale Valley, accessed via the market town of Ashbourne 9.5 miles away. Not only will you have full use of a private all-weather hot tub, but the elevated position also means you could soon be admiring the marvellous vistas over a well-deserved drink.

Your accommodation is perched on the first floor and accessed by external steps, so you’ll have some seriously impressive views to enjoy. The lounge/kitchen/diner is open-plan and generously equipped for dining and relaxing at leisure, and there’s a conservatory downstairs where you can sip your morning coffee in peace or unwind in the hot tub outside. Use up the last of your energy reserves in your private gym, blast the shower to soothe your weary limbs, then sink into your super-king-size bed for a restful night’s sleep.

Take a break from cooking and stroll down to the local pub 1 mile away for a slap-up feast and some locally brewed beer, or drive the short 9.5-miles into Ashbourne to browse the Georgian architecture and have a meal in one of the many eateries. Burton upon Trent carries a reputation for being somewhat of a brewing capital, and it is easy to see why when you learn more about the town’s proud brewing heritage at the National Brewery Centre 14 miles away. It’s also a great destination for retail therapy thanks to the high street favourites and scattering of independent shops and eateries.

Me and my partner stayed at the cottage for a couple of nights and were really impressed, lovely little cottage with modern appliances throughout and an outstaying view which can be seen from the hot tub. The host was really friendly and gave us a quick tour to show the local shops which was a nice touch.

This property has quite a steep set of stairs to the entrance which is not mentioned in the site. The property was very nice and comfortable. I felt that it was a little over priced. I think price was due to the views rather than the accommodation. The little flat was lovely and clean its just I thought a little overprice for me .

A fabulous property in beautiful, tranquil surroundings. Perfect for a relaxing getaway. The amenities in the cottage are top notch. It was so special to be able to sit in the hot tub watching the sunset. The local pub is a short walk away and thank you to Gordon for the recommendation of Dovestone Farm Shop and cafe where we had a great brunch.

We had the most amazing and relaxing time in beautiful surroundings. The owners were so welcoming and hospitable. The accommodation was out of this world with panoramic views of the surroundings and we will definitely return for another relaxing break very soon. The estate is an absolute credit to the owners John and Rachel (Cheshire)
