Matlock can be easily reached from Bronte Cottage and boasts charming architecture, shops and plenty of welcoming pubs and restaurants for you to take a break at in-between exploring. Other fantastic attractions within a short drive include Carsington Watersports, Gullivers Kingdon and the Blue John Mines to name a few. A local farm shop is only a mile away from the property and great for picking up some tasty treats and essentials or if you fancy a glass of wine or a refreshing local ale, head to the local pub, only four miles from the cottage.
With modern furnishings and features, the property has a comfortable open plan lounge/ kitchen/ diner area equipped with all the essentials you require for a self-catering holiday. Well designed and spacious, the kitchen area benefits from granite worktops and a wall mounted flat screen TV with Freeview is in the lounge area. There are three bedrooms at the property and all have zip-and-link beds which can be made into either doubles or twin upon request. On the ground floor there is one bedroom with two single beds and an en-suite wetroom with a WC. Upstairs you will find two spacious bedrooms, one with a double bed and en-suite shower room with WC and one bedroom with two single beds, en-suite shower room and a WC.
