Awesome experience in this beautiful village home. Close proximity to all tourist attractions, walks and shops. There is a fuel station and garage just down the road which is really advantageous. The rooms are comfortable, very well decorated walls and accessories. Feels like home as soon as we step in. We stayed during the hottest days of this sumRead moremer so enjoyed peaceful nights sleep with the windows open. The neighbourhood is peaceful and people around are very friendly. Hide

The cottage was absolutely fantastic - comfortable, clean, plenty of room for all of us (3 adults, 2 children and a Cavapoo) and ideally located for all amenities, restaurants and hike trails!

Very comfortable property, with a good heating system and on-site parking for one car. My wife and I enjoyed our 2 week holiday here. The village has three shops which cover the average requirements. There are three pubs, non of which was particularly inspiring, we preferred to drive to Bakewell for out evening meals.

The cottage had most basic amenities and is well placed to explore the Peak District. The local area is very scenic with various walks. The village is well served with pubs, shops and a cafe. All dog friendly as are many places in the area. It was an expensive stay but this was due to the time of the year (just after Christmas).
