Enjoy views towards Castleton and Mam Tor from this fabulous barn conversion. Perfect for any pet-loving party of four, it has an open-plan social space and a bathroom for each bedroom, while a wood burner and a stream-edged garden add all-weather appeal.
Part of a small cluster of holiday properties, this pretty cottage comes with private parking so you can unpack at leisurely pace. Inside, the open-plan social space has original beams, and a wood burner within a striking stone fireplace. Cook up a storm in the farmhouse-style kitchen, eat at the bar-style dining suite, then curl up on soft seating to watch your favourite TV programmes. A handy wet room is on the ground floor – perfect for freshening-up as you return home each day – while upstairs the main bathroom has a free-standing bath and is conveniently close to the two bedrooms. Choose between a peaceful double and a pretty twin room. Step into the garden and the bordering stream creates a calming soundtrack, while the patio and lawned area provide space to unwind – watch out for the owner’s horses, which are stabled and grazed nearby. If you’d like to share your holiday with a larger party, other properties are available which sleep a further 12 guests; please ask for details.
