Consider a stay in Crich, approximately 5 miles from the edge of the spectacular Peak District and 6 miles from Matlock. This inviting, stone barn conversion, set on a farm, sleeps six guests, who are welcome to bring two happy hounds along with them for the break. Venture out on long hill and valley walks or enjoy the far-reaching views from the holiday home. Bubble in the hot tub in the evening or light the wood burner for cosy nights in.

Enter this impressive, three-storey holiday home, which offers more than a touch of luxury. Wander into the kitchen and tear yourself away from the views long enough to prepare dinner for everyone. Lay the table in the generous lounge/diner, then call them to sit down together. After dinner, light the wood burner and choose a film to watch on the Smart TV. You will also find a WC on the ground floor, while the family bathroom is on the first floor, together with two of the bedrooms. These include a twin and a super-king-size, with zip-and-link beds that can be arranged as twins in advance. The third bedroom is also king-size and is up on the second floor, where it has an en-suite shower room and takes in panoramic views. Relax out in one of the two the sunny gardens as often as possible, soak in the hot tub and have dinner out here on occasion. Find parking for three cars at the property.

Crich is known for its National Tramway Museum, where you can pay a penny to ride on an old-fashioned tram. You can also explore the grounds, enjoy a recreated village scene and follow a sculpture trail. Head into Matlock to go shopping or dine out. Drive 14 miles into the Peak District to while away the afternoon in Bakewell.

Loved the cottage, excellent space & although in the end couldn't bring my dogs the cottage would have been ideal. It was great place for us humans. Wake to the sound of cows heading for milking, it was perfect. The owners were so friendly. Many thanks

What a fab place for a short break! Check in was really easy. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. We loved that it was on a working farm....never more than a few meters away from a cow, and they often come for a sunbathe outside our window. Great location for sight seeing and a couple of great local pubs for food. Would highly recommend.

Great cottage for our annual friends get together. The space is great for socialising, comfy sofas and good size dining table. Bedrooms are lovely ,comfortable beds and bedding. Hot tub was a must for our stay and this didn't disappoint ,even in the rain. It is a working farm so you will have cows near by. Plenty to do nearby, easy walk to Crich anRead mored it's pubs. We stayed over New Year with friends and our respective kids. Great location, close to Matlock and Chatsworth, lovely clean and well equipped cottage, and the kids loved being on a working farm and seeing the animals all around them. The hot tub was a huge hit and very welcome addition. Owner v friendly and helpful. We would definitely return.

Bileberry Barn is a very nice cottage, super quiet and rural but the town center of Crich is a few minutes drive away. The property location is perfect for the main attractions of the area. The cottage is spacious, comfortable, special mention to the hot tub and fire burner which made the stay super cosy and enjoyable. However, it is right next to Read morea milking farm so yes there is a nuisance around the smell outside which is very bothering and the early noise of the machinery (around 7am). Hide

A lovely spacious barn conversion with a small enclosed garden and set in the heart of a dairy farm. Lovely watching the cows coming in and out for milking, the calves were gorgeous. The hot tub was enjoyed the all the family too.

Disappointing. The barn is right next to the milking shed so the noise (milking x 2 daily) and smell was unpleasant. The allocated garden space is tiny, overlooked by next door & obscured by hedges; even with the hot tub (not v clean) it's not conducive for sitting in. Going in/out you run the gauntlet as you must walk through next door's garden buRead moret you have no control over any dogs there. The farm dogs also run loosely and can be loud & aggressive. Inside lacks attention to detail in some parts Hide
