Fantastic stay at the flat in a converted chapel. It is furnished to a very high standard and was comfortable and exceptionally clean with everything you needed for the weekend included. Lovely touch of crisps and biscuits as a welcome. Great location within walking distance of town and shops. Parking not too far away on a side road. An enjoyable wRead moreeekend. Hide

A beautifully maintained comfortable and spacious property. The TV is a bit of a problem as it keeps logging out of the internet. The owners were on hand immediately to sort out a small issue we hand. The Newsroom micropub around the corner I was a great find. Overall a wonderful midweek stay. Lesley

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at this lovely apartment. Its spacious, well appointed and comfortable. Location is excellent as it is in walking distance of the centre of Matlock, however it should be noted that its at the top of a very steep hill so may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. Lovely flat and in a great location for getting into the Peak District for walks and other activities - we particularly enjoyed walking at Stanage Edge and cycling along the Monsal trail. Lovely flat, very clean and spacious, but stuffy in the bedrooms (which I understand the owners are planning to address anyway). Owners very helpful when I stupidRead morely left clothes there and sent them on very promptly. Just around the corner is a really fantastic little pub: "The Newsroom" Hide

A large and immaculately clean apartment in a great location. The bedding and towels smelled amazing! We had lovely meals out in the local area and found a great pub. It was our first visit to the Peak District and we were within easy reach of lots of great attractions. The owners were easily contactable and could not do enough for us. Lovely high spec apartment. Nice bottle of wine and chocolate on arrival (beats the usual teabags and milk for us anyway) Great that we had the option to have 4 single beds. Excellent standard of cleanliness. Couldnt work out the tv in lounge but we had a fire stick with us so just used that. TVs in bedrooms fine. Situated at top of a pretty steep Read morehill. Shops and a couple of bars and a few restaurants at the bottom. Not sure if the 2 bars at the top were open but didnt appear very inviting. Hide
