This superb property benefits from an ideal location in the bustling town of Matlock, which has a host of things to see and do on your doorstep including array of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, a weekly market and parks is also within easy reach of the gorgeous country houses of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall, both ideal for whiling away an afternoon. The Matlock Bath illuminations and firework display are especially popular in autumn. Just a short drive away will take you to the nearby picturesque market town of Bakewell which lies in the heart of the Peak District National Park and offers a fantastic place for meandering through the various shops, cafes and restaurants.

You enter into this bright, airy and spacious property arriving into a small hallway which leads into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen area has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The chef of the party can rustle up a meal for guests who can sit at the island and discuss the day they had and the adventures ahead over a nice meal and a drink. A large and immaculately clean apartment in a great location. The bedding and towels smelled amazing! We had lovely meals out in the local area and found a great pub. It was our first visit to the Peak District and we were within easy reach of lots of great attractions. The owners were easily contactable and could not do enough for us. Lovely high spec apartment. Nice bottle of wine and chocolate on arrival (beats the usual teabags and milk for us anyway) Great that we had the option to have 4 single beds. Excellent standard of cleanliness. Couldnt work out the tv in lounge but we had a fire stick with us so just used that. TVs in bedrooms fine. Situated at top of a pretty steep Read morehill. Shops and a couple of bars and a few restaurants at the bottom. Not sure if the 2 bars at the top were open but didnt appear very inviting. Hide
