Nestled in the weathered landscape of the Dark Peak, guests are offered a wonderful base for exploring the countryside. Delightful walks are right on the doorstep, including a jaunt to the pretty village of Chelmorton. For guests seeking a spot of culture, the historical spa town of Buxton is nearby and boasts theatre, shopping and an opera house.

A charming three bedroom property one one level accommodation with a fully equipped fitted kitchen. The lounge is spacious and light, with a vaulted ceiling and oak floor providing warmth and charm to the property. The stone fireplace with an electric wood burner provides a wonderful central feature to the space.

To the rear of the property, the main bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite shower with a large shower cubicle, hand basin and toilet. There is a second bedroom with a double bed and a third bedroom containing two single beds. A main bathroom with a spa bath, shower-over, hand basin and toilet, perfectly completes this property.

Outside, there are steps down to a large enclosed stone gravel area for relaxing and taking in the beauty of the surrounds.

Excellent cottage. We chose it for a guest with limited mobility, but did not want to sacrifice the standard of accommodation, and we weren't disappointed. All on one level and with walk in shower, plenty of space, fabulous facilities, warm and inviting. Alongside the farm setting with great views - just perfect.

Location of this cottage was excellent. Nice road to the farm, not your usual dirt track. Nice cottage, could do with a few updates, but otherwise well equipped and nice views.

Lovely cottage, in a great spot for many of the attractions near by. On a working farm, with lovely hosts. Happy for my children to watch and ask lots of questions! Surrounded by Beautiful scenery and farm animals!! Cottage was clean, maybe a few too many cobwebs but a lovely cosy cottage with lots of character!

A traditional cosy cottage on a working farm in a lovely location. Lots of animal visitors: cats, sheep, cows, farm dog and big spiders! The cottage is incredibly well equipped and comfortable. We loved the huge lounge and the extensive kitchen equipment. Apart from the main double bedroom, the other two are rather small, especially the en suite one but not a lot that can be done about that. The rest is spacious and homely. We had a fantastic holiday, the property was clean, warm and comfortable. Would definitely go again. One little point (which is not a complaint) is that if you have a small dog say Jack Russell or smaller it can escape under/through the garden gate, I only mention this as sheep and cats in farmyard - it is a farm after all.

The cottage is in a good location with excellent views, however, the rear bedroom of the property was too small to be classed as a double room, the reason being is that you had to walk sideways between the wall and the bed to get into bed. This would be more suited to be a single bedroom.
