Judy cottage could be a lovely cottage. It's a little tired especially downstairs. There is no hanging space for clothes in the downstairs bedrooms. Only 3 chairs for the kitchen table. Not cleaned to the highest standard. Lounge and dining area lovely as was the master bedroom. The views are stunning and location good. Remember no garden. A second visit to Judy Cottage and we weren't disappointed. It is a really well appointed property - a true home from home (except the view from my window at home is of traffic and other buildings, not beautiful countryside!). It is in a great location from which to get out into the Peaks and is a great base to return to when tired at the end of a Read moreday's walking. Hide

The cottage needs to be thoroughly cleaned. Some utensils need replacing, specially oven trays. There was a burnt saucepan. All the window glass needs to be cleaned to see the beautiful views. Location and the cottage are beautiful. The lock on the downstairs bathroom doesnt work.

Excellent location. Cottage was very well equipped and very clean. Shower was particularly great. Bed comfy and not too thick a quilt but plenty of throws if you felt cold. Lots of kitchen pots and pans etc for eating in. Friendly neighbourhood. Appliances new and smart tv was brilliant to have. Bring your passwords!! We had a wonderful stay at Judy Cottage. Lovely views from all windows. Always warm. Comfortable beds, lovely showers, kitchen was well stocked. Lovely walks and cycle trails all around the area. Internet worked perfectly too. Didnt watch TV much. Handy use of the garage for our bikes.

Judy Cottage is a perfect location from which to explore the Peak District. It is a well appointed cottage, comfortable and enjoys lovely views. Other reviewers reference the lack of a garden but this is clearly stated in the property overview. We had a very relaxing week in this cottage and would recommend.
