This cosy traditional cottage is set in an elevated position with beautiful views and packed with character comes from many original features. Located two miles from the amenities of Peak Forest.

The cottage sits in a tranquil location in the grounds of the owners’ property. Head for the hills on foot towards Kinder Scout, Mam Tor and the beginning of the popular Pennine Way. The nearby Devonshire Arms pub in Peak Forest is the perfect way to end a busy day exploring the local area, while popular Buxton is just fifteen minutes away by car.

A stable door welcomes you into a handy hallway come boot room, ideal for kicking off muddy boots.  Leading through to a fully equipped kitchen decorated in light bright tones with a pretty window and includes everything you should need throughout your stay.  From the kitchen you go through to the spacious open plan lounge and dining area with a cosy wood burning stove perfect for relaxing in front of after a day exploring.

Stairs lead up to a hallway, off this are two double bedrooms  both with glorious countryside views and a modern shower room with walk in shower, hand basin and toilet, all have been decorated in neutral tones and give a feeling of relaxation.  Guests are very welcome to share the large lawned gardens with the owners, which include garden furniture for sunny evenings and a rope swing for the kids.

A cosy, clean, very well-equipped cottage set in a beautiful and quiet location. The owners stressed they were there to help in any way but respected our privacy. The cottage was close to facilities and excellent walks.

The owners were brilliant and really helped our holiday situation immensely (due to covid). The area for all walking/cycling enthusiast's was very good, this holiday cottage is a must for countryside, peace & tranquility.

A lovely, warm, clean and well equipped cottage. In a perfect location for walking the Peaks of Mam Tor and beyond! We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable by the owners.

This property is in a beautiful location and has everything that you need. There isn't Wi-Fi but to be honest we didn't miss it. The owners were very kind and our welcome pack was very much appreciated.

A beautifully renovated detached cottage next to the owners house, with stunning views. The owners are very friendly and approachable. Situated a couple of miles from Chapel en le Frith half way down a narrow lane. The lane is narrow but there is so little traffic it isn't a problem.

Really comfortable cottage! It's in a lovely area situated on a quiet lane with very little traffic. It's in a really good walking area and with lots more places worth visiting within an easy driving distance. The owners live in the adjacent property and are very friendly and helpful. A lovely cottage in an ideal location for walking in the Peak District. Decoration and comfort was excellent and the owners were helpful and friendly. Our stay was peaceful and welcoming with everything available that we could need. We would love to come back and stay again soon.

Absolutely gorgeous little cottage, surrounded by fields of lambs, easy to get to. The owners are friendly, easy to reach and eager to help. The neighbours adorable cat also lends a friendly face.
