Set within 30 acres of the owners’ private grounds, this stylish property is full of country charm with close attention to detail and a careful blend of old and new. An outside private patio area provides a spot for al fresco dining.

This property set within 30 acres of the owners grounds has recently been converted to provide very comfortable and spacious contemporary style accommodation in this delightful rural location on the south west edge of the Peak District National Park.

You access the accommodation from the parking area (3 steps) across the spacious patio which enjoys the sun throughout much of the day into the kitchen area which is fully equipped with all the essentials you will require for your stay - this area is open plan to the lounge and dining area with its imposing brick built inglenook style fireplace with inset log burning stove oak floors with under floor heating and exposed beams adding to the charm of this room. There is also a ground floor cloakroom with toilet and hand basin with utility amenities as well. The stairs lead to the two bedrooms both of a very good size each with a king size wrought iron double bed and en suite shower rooms with toilet and hand basin – the sloping ceilings and painted wooden floors adding to the rooms individual character. The master bedroom suite has a sofa bed and suitable for occasional use.

Good country walks exist from your doorstep across the owners land and beyond.

This cottage is perfect if youre looking to be able to walk from the door on many different walks, or just enjoy the views and tranquility. . Everything you need to make your stay enjoyable is available, cottage is very well equipped, If you choose to eat and have a drink out theres options too. Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful cottage with very friendly and helpful owners. It's a lovely place to stay. Best for hikers and walkers as there aren't many places to visit nearby. Angela made a delicious teacake - we really enjoyed that! We had a very restful and relaxing break.

For 3 adults it was ideal, with a picture perfect location and luxury, space and privacy of separate bedrooms and bathrooms. The cottage was beautifully furnished and well equipped the best Ive stayed in. The cooker has an induction hob, with a pacemaker I couldnt use it. Had I known in advance I wouldnt have booked but I would have missed out, andRead more others had to cook for me! Ian and Angela were generous and friendly hosts. We would visit again. What a fantastic holiday home, everything and more that you could possibly wish for. Owners a delightful couple who gave us a very warm welcome, the home baked tea bread & butter was very welcome on our arrival. An enjoyable week in a lovely cottage on a working sheep farm in very scenic countryside. Seclusion and solitude away from the hustle and bustle of home and working life - just what we needed after one very busy year. Who needs to go abroad!

The cottage was immaculate! Location is exactly what we wanted. Although it is handy for the pub (The Ship) we were disappointed as was it only open Fri, Sat & Sun.

Wonderful cottage in the heart of the Peak District, set in a glorious sheep farm. Sensational view of 'The Hanging Rock' from the cottage (make sure you climb it!) & plenty of woodland & hill top walks on your doorstep. Some lovely local pubs nearby & the superb Wincle brewery just a 5 minute walk away (very dangerous!). This is a fantastic cottage to stay in. It feels so warm and homely. Its really well equipped, spotlessly clean and has plenty of space in all of the rooms. The outside space and barbecue is a great addition. Also a 2 min walk to the pub! Thank you to Ian and Angela for a fantastic stay. Hope to see you next year!
